I think one of the real problems that could be fixed right now and stop a lot
of the chatter is some clarity from the Obama camp. Although he has been
clear on overall goals, he has left us all to speculate on how he intends to
get
there. The campaign is over, he is our President. There should be nothing
holding him back from giving us the details on his economic and social plans.
Will he reverse executive orders and which ones?, etc etc. He can cut off
all the speculation with some clear definitions. If not, we are looking
forward
to a couple really long months.

thank you, Lynn. I don't believe Obama meant he was going to institute
another version of the Patriot Act's TIPS program. I think we have much more to
fear from the corporatists, who have their hooks sunk deep into both parties
(that's a rant for another day).

All the spin, nitpicking, and propagandizing over the last several years and
in this latest campaign I believe is meant to divide people and weaken any
sort of cleanup effort at removing corporate influence (what a sweet deal
right now--privatize profit and socialize risk). It may play out along party
lines, but the end result is gonna be the same unless people forget party lines
and work together... as Franklin said, "

"We must hang together, or we will assuredly hang separately."

off to get another cup of coffee and read UrbanSurvival, then move some
rhubarb plants before their crowns drown and rot.
