drill, I used to call it a hurdy-gurdy and these come in different sizes.

screwdriver drill, push drill (this what you meant James?), yankee 
drill (?) and other names too. Anyone see the movie 'The Blues 
Brothers" & remember where Jake opened the elevator control box? He 
used one of these for that <g>.
