James; There sails are still full of air.  Right after the announcement, the Brady campaign claimed partial victory -- go figure?

As to your second point: Don't count on the ACLU,They will defend the Constitution , vigorously, when it suits the cultural purpose of that group.  Their assertion is that they have never taken a pro or con stance on the 2nd Ammendment--now, as you say, they need to stand up--but they will not.  They will be too busy defending the G** da*n*d Man Boy Love Association......'very hard not to use swear words in front of the name of that group---sorry...bobford
