[Homestead] Gardening...was In Defense of Food

Because of the snow and wind storms here, I've only gotten about half the
e-mails.

We had hoop houses up on the bluff that were made using livestock panels.
The winds are 50 mph and higher every single winter. The plastic
occassionally lost the battle but the hoop houses stood firm!

A friend here in town also has the livestock panel hoop houses and they have
withstood having over 2' of snow dumped on them, wet and heavy snow, I might
add, in one night.
