[Homestead] Hullo old friends : )

Boy, every time someone sends one of these I start thinking about all
the 'old' people who've come and gone, some really interesting folks
over the years, most all with dreams, and I wonder how they've come
along, even the odd ones, like Chris, remember him? He was a hoot, with
his undirected enthusiasm for whatever came along. Lee used to check in
every now and again but haven't seen anything from her for a very long
time. Frank to KY and oblivion, and so on.....Granddad. Anita
Sands. Ray Zentz was around until fairly lately but haven't seen
anything in the last couple of years of so from him. Plenty of others.
Sometime I wonder about folks when I'm in the garden or whatnot:
someone's question (or edict!) will pop into my head.....
Seems like I lost track of my some memory along with the fire, it sort
of 'soaked up' small bits of information from my brain, as well as
literally, and left only the framework........too much to keep track of,
I guess. But I wonder 'bout 'em all....
Susan Jane, in Maine, where we just lost 3' of snow holding about a foot
of water in the last 48 hours of rain/~50º temps: water running in a
sheet down the pasture, sounds like a creek.
