[Homestead] Canned Meats

There has been talk of canning different meats.  These Mennonites do it successfully enough to have some commercial success.  I just read a little blurb about them on another site, recently, and looked to see if they had a web page.  It isn't much of a web page, but if anyone is curious , it is below.  They get about 3 bucks per pound before shipping cost

Grabill Country Meats 



Grabill Country Meats is an USDA inspected processing plant located in Grabill, Indiana. We produce canned beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. Our cans are hand packed and then fully cooked at our facility. We are family owned and take pride in the fact that our product is of the highest quality. Our products are great for the busy person who wants the convenience of a heat and serve meal or the chef who wants a quality ingredient in that special recipe. Many of our customers stock extra cans in case of emergencies such as blizzards or hurricanes. RV and Yacht owners also purchase our product as provisions for their trips.
