Bob, I have snipped out a few lines from the above...
I value my life by what I can give my children and grandchildren and 
other people. In that way, you can make the arguement that I allow 
others to validate me. Maybe so.   My assets, my financial worth, 
wouldn't be enough to buy matches for my funeral pyre.<g>

Maybe I don't understand you because you measure your worth in 
dollars..I know what little I have, EarthNSky(and really Countrwide 
still owns this farm, but for the sake of argument), I would never even 
think of trading it.  It is part of me.  Perhaps because you have been 
fortunate enough to have money and multiple properties, you are not so 
attached to a place.  I know you love your dog, and he/she is probably 
within 10 feet of you as you read this...mine is...do you think your dog 
values you?
Can you, would you, tell us where the properties are and maybe something 
about them?  Perhaps we can help you decide by giving positives and 
negatives.
