Darn it, I missed Fred's call...and I so wanted to talk to him about
constitutional law. I did not get the Michael Reagan call, but I did
talk to Ron Reagan Jr this morning, does that count? Perdue was
yesterday, his wife the day before, and I honestly can't remember how
many calls I have gotten. I had actually forgotten about Ron Jr calling
this morning. I was delirious when he called.
Martin's team doesn't value my vote, I don't guess. I did get a call
from some kind of environmental group. I suppose if you are on the A
list, you get celebrity calls, and if you are on the B list, you get
groups calling on behalf of...
This election is a real lose lose election. In the best of all possible
worlds, I'd vote for Martin, I think. He seems a bit more honorable, a
man devoted to his country as opposed to his own career...However, I
think the worst thing this country could have right now is the
supermajority, so I reluctantly will be voting for Saxby, the draft
dodger that doesn't seem to respect the sacrifices of those who have served.
I learned tonight that Martin was against Obama in the primaries, voting
for Edwards even though he wasn't on the ticket...ouch. It
is rare to find a Democrat who wasn't under the Obama spell or who
wasn't all about Hillary. Ironically, he needs BO's help now, but it
won't be forthcoming.
