Oddly, there is something about the man that says "agnostic" to me. I
thought it strange that he was even affiliated with a church when the
whole Wright thing blew. When he would talk about it, I just didn't
hear the passion and faith in his voice. It is very odd. A while back
someone here used the phrase 'religion as a tool', and that kind of rang
true as well, at least to my perception of the man.
And before anyone gets upset with me about this, just know that if he is
agnostic, that actually makes me like him better. After all, it is
something I can relate to. I live in the South, so I almost *have* to
have a church home, but that doesn't necessarily represent what I
personally believe.
