[Homestead] We're all gonna die

Well, there's one thing  about being an "older parent"  it that I do  
kind of like. I am a LOT more relaxed in the raising of this child  
than I was my first, and I think that's a positive thing. There's 9  
years between them and what a difference that decade made in my life.  
That part's nice.

On the other hand, I am also sometimes hard pressed to stay up later  
than she does. That part's not. But I take comfort in the smoke alarms.
