yup, What I don't understand is why one of these folks doesn't take the  
million bucks a national ad is costing, show up at a homeless shelter,  orphanage, 
or habitat project and spend that million to build a shelter, or 20  habitat 
houses. They would get FAR more tv coverage than the tv ads the million  would 
buy and all of it would be positive coverage. The news folks would cover  
this and follow the story for months, for free. The money would also stay in the  
us, as pay for workers, building materials, etc.

part.  The signs, the billboards, the radio spots, the voiceovers, the
airtime- I  think those dollars stay here.
