Since the mid-1970s, I've managed that with the exception of my last
Subaru, which I drove for 60,000 miles before I turned it into scrap
metal in a ditch (with new tires and new brakes <sigh>), I have driven
my cars for more than 300,000 miles.
I'm glad to know I've saved so much money (though I may have blown it
with the wreck).
