[Homestead] Hand tools-for firewood

  Hi Gene...I agree with what you say fer the most part. I have my wood stove in my basement and use it to do the main heating of my house...which is a ranch style. I also have a oil fired furnace...hot water...that is my main heating plant. When it is real cold...like below zero...my wood stove can't keep up so the furnace kicks in to help out....;-) The wood stove has kept my back end warm...and cooked my beans more the once when the power has/was out fer days on end...as gets here in Maine in the winter at times...;-)
  It is probably not far off when us workin' folks will have to use hand tools again to do alot of our work...cos there won't be nuthin' but real expensive fuel...;-) Thats ok too...as long as I can do it...if not I will have a problem...;-) Franklin
