Red oak is pretty wood. Have you considered it for your plank
flooring? Åsk local mills about charges. If feasible, cut it into the
lengths you want the planks, haul it to the mill and let them cut it,
bring it home and sticker and cover it. More rural mills today also
have planers and can make T&G.
