[Homestead] Pond snake problem

Popping in to comment on this thread..
A water snake would be fine in the creek, but would find its way back to
your pond. Copperheads are not water snakes by nature, as they feed on
the reptiles and small mammals that come to drink. I don't think
relocation is the answer. As for "clearing" the pond, try a few M-80's
or research electrofishing. Even that, however, is only a temporary
solution and gives a false sense of security. You basically have two
choices...live and let live, or kill the beast.
