[Homestead] gas prices

This discussion prompted a memory of an article about a home methane 
gas producer which appeared in Mother Earth News shortly after the 
1973 oil embargo, which pushed energy prices up.  The average 
homesteader may not have enough manure and garbage to make it 
worthwhile, but here is the link to the article:
