[Homestead] Daylight Saving Time

Perhaps they can explain how it will save energy if folks are getting up 
when it is still dark and thus using energy both for lights and heat that 
they wouldn't use otherwise?

I sometimes wonder if one of the pre-req's for being a politician is putting 
common sense in cold storage.
