Dan,

I am sure you tried all this but:

Under the Network Connections > Your Wireless Card>Properties check  
and make sure you are using DHCP ( if you are)

Then under Start>Run>CMD> Ipconfig make sure you are getting real ip  
addresses. Your wifi router should be in 192.168.x.xxx range. If you  
have a valid IP address try pinging something. If you see a  
169.xx.xxx.xx address with 255.255.0.0. subnet you know you don't  
have a valid address.

You can use ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew to reset you  
connection under the command prompt

Make sure a cordless phone is not in the way. The older ones use the  
same spectrum

You should be able to download the driver from the web

What virus blocker? That could cause problems. Open you task manager  
 > processes and see if you still see part of it running.

Just some double checking.
