Horses are the most likely animal to die from somthing they eat. There is a
list about a mile long of grasses, trees, brush, etc. that will make them
sick or kill them. For example, good ol' vetch will paralyze them if it
isn't cured perfectly.
We raised, showed and raced them for decades and I'm still finding new
plants that can cause problems.
