I treat Roundup like Penicillin. It is something that has an important use
but only when needed. We had Horehound growing all over the place. It
would get into the dogs ears and no amount of digging the stuff out would
eradicate it. In fact my digging just spread it so I has to resort to
Roundup. By only using it on the Horehound I was able to control the stuff
in a couple of years. Same way with Canadian Thistle in Spokane.
