However, reading the law in Virginia isn't like that.  Once the requirement 
of reading hte law has been satisfied (and the aspiring attorney has not 
darkened the door of any law school) and the Bar exam passed, the lawyer is fully 
licensed in all respects same as if he or she attened law school.
