[Homestead] Grapes and winemaking

A mind-staggering amount of mental and physical work, heavy investment 
in land, growing, harvesting equipment, the winery itself and tastings 
galore, all the many aspects of successful marketing of a new label.  
But many vintners have succeeded, not just in California, but Finger 
Lakes.  Some failures too, three or four years ago the landowner tore up 
a good vineyard near Roanoke, Virginia---just too much to cope with.
