If you do not need a full sized pickup, the little Japanese pickups are
hard to beat. The full sized ones should be just as reliable. I think if
I ever have to replace my pickup I will seriously consider the Nissan
Titan. To me the only down side is that it only comes with an
automatic. Automatics are expensive to buy, use, and are unreliable.

My current pickup is a full sized Dodge 318 5 spd. It has 120K miles on it
and should easily get me to the moon. The one before this was a
Nissan. At 130K miles the only reason I got rid of it was I needed the
towing capacity of the Dodge. At 130K miles the Nissan had no repairs,
none, never. Nothing other than normal tune ups, brakes at 60K, etc. At
120K miles the Dodge had the rear end repaired under warranty and I had to
replace the plenum gasket.
