[freetds] FreeTDS with MSSQL 2005 Issue [NC]

I hadn't before (thanks for reminding me), but I got the same error:

root at DEVTEST01:/usr/local/freetds/etc# tsql -S Reporting -U
"domain\\username"
locale is "en_CA.UTF-8"
locale charset is "UTF-8"
Password:
189Msg 20009, Level 9, State -1, Server OpenClient, Line -1
Unable to connect: Adaptive Server is unavailable or does not exist
There was a problem connecting to the server
