Hello,
I looked a the locales.conf in cvs, and created the following locales.conf file:

[default]
        language = english
        char set = iso_1

It didn't work.

Next I set some environment variables:
 export LANG=en_US
 export LANGUAGE=en_US
and tried again. It didn't work.

So then I tried unsetting them:
 unset LANG
 unset LANGUAGE

But now tds is trying to use "ANSI_X3.4-1968" to connect to the server (!)

Any ideas please?

Jack
