Yes, I have compiled sqsh 2.1.3 against freetds v0.63

looks like you have a makefile issue...

I have changed the sqsh Makefile in <sqsh_home>/src, thus:

1) change to point to top level freetds install directory
SYBASE_OCOS   = <...>/freetds,v0.63

2) change link library directives:

SYBASE_LIBS = -lct -ltds -lnsl -ldl -lm

HTH,

Bill

Subject: [freetds] Compiling sqsh-2.1.3 against freetds-0.63 on RH9

Hi all,

I am having problems compiling sqsh-2.1.3 against freetds-0.63 on a
Redhat9 Linux server. I managed to compile freetds-0.63 OK and I have
verified that it works by using tsql utility to query one of our SQL
Servers. However, I now want to get Sqsh working. The "configure" script

runs OK, but when running "make" I get the errors:

cmd_bcp.o(.text+0x3fb): In function `cmd_bcp':
/home/psl/sqsh/sqsh-2.1.3/src/cmd_bcp.c:927: undefined reference to
`cs_loc_drop'
cmd_bcp.o(.text+0x40b):/home/psl/sqsh/sqsh-2.1.3/src/cmd_bcp.c:922:
undefined reference to `ct_close'
cmd_bcp.o(.text+0x414):/home/psl/sqsh/sqsh-2.1.3/src/cmd_bcp.c:923:
undefined reference to `ct_con_drop'
cmd_bcp.o(.text+0x422):/home/psl/sqsh/sqsh-2.1.3/src/cmd_bcp.c:917:
undefined reference to `blk_drop'

Has anyone managed to compile Sqsh against freetds-0.63 before?

Thanks in advance
