I have a connection pool running with plenty of connections, i can run
my single insert/update etc statements through the pool no problem.
Here's my problem, I am now trying to send a string through the pool
that contains more than one statement in it (insert and an update),
below is an example of the string.
INSERT INTO Inbound
VALUES ('1110','350389833169207',CONVERT(DateTime,'24 August 2005
UPDATE VehicleStatus SET Latitude = CONVERT(float,'54.605217'),
Longitude = CONVERT(float,'-6.165408'), Speed = CONVERT(float,'0.0'),
Direction = CONVERT(float,'0.0'), AlertStatus = '0', NSEW = 'Ignition
On', DT = CONVERT(DateTime,'24 August 200509:42:04'), Odometer =
CONVERT(int,'2401306') WHERE VehicleID = '1110'
It wont let me do this, has anyone else had this problem?
I can run the above string through a single connection no problem, i can
also put the string into tsql and it will insert it, so the problem must
be with the pool. Can it not handle 2 statements in the one string?
Any help would be great, thanks
