[freetds] ./configure is failing

Apple calls it the "Xcode Tools" package. A copy is bundled with  
every copy of Mac OS X, either on a separate CD or on the same DVD as  
the OS installer.

I recommend though that you go to http://developer.apple.com instead  
and download the latest version for your system from there, as the  
bundled copy which came with your system discs is guaranteed to be  
outdated by now.

Note that the new Xcode Tools 2.x line requires Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.

For 10.3 Panther, you'll have to get Xcode Tools v1.5.
