Well, this is how 'make' starts on my RS6k:

Making all in include
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/freetds-0.63RC2/include'

>> touch ./config.h.in <<
>> cd .. && /bin/sh ./config.status include/config.h <<

This should'nt be, should it ? I remember having similar effects on
Linux as well,
