Hi list,

I've been successfully using FreeTDS 0.53 for a month, but what seems to
be a leak and some missing functions on odbc.c made me think about using
the -current branch. My question is: were there any config changes on the
current branch ? my actual conf ( which worked w/ 0.53 ) actually seems to
have no effect, nor even being read. Here are some informations :

system: FreeBSD 4.6.2
remote DB: MS SQL 7.0
Driver manager: iODBC, unixODBC and direct linking over libtdsodbc tested

/etc/odbc.ini :

[freetds]
Driver          = /usr/local/FreeTDS/lib/libtdsodbc.so.0
Servername              = ODBC
Database                = db
Trace                   = Yes
UID                     = user
PWD                     = pass

/usr/local/FreeTDS/etc/freetds.conf :

<standard stuff>

[ODBC]
        host = hostname.of.sql.server
        port = 1433
        tds version = 7.0

I tested with both isql (unixODBC) and odbctest (iODBC), no one can
connect to the DB. Again, I insist on the fact that it worked fine with
FreeTDS 0.53, that make me think about a conf location change or something
not reported. Any information on this ?

Thanks for any help,

Best regards,
