You could also check Alan Segal's Life After Death: A History of the Afterlife in Western Religion <http://www.amazon.com/Life-After-Death-Afterlife-Religion/dp/0385422997/ref=sr_1_6/002-9769306-4724859?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1176001642&sr=1-6> . It is quite thorough and has some differences with what you find in Wright.

I would also add: Robert B. Stewart,, ed. The Resurrection of Jesus: John Dominic Crossan and N.T. Wright in Dialogue (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 2006) which also touches on this topic.

Don't forget N. T. Wright's _The Resurrection of the Son of God_.

I am working on a paper which touches on Paul's speech before the Aeropagus (Acts 17), in particular the response he got when he mentioned the resurrection (17:31-32). I am finding very little New Testament scholarship specific to the attitudes, philosophical and popular, on resurrection and physical immortality in the Greco-Roman world. At present what I have found is mostly Classical scholarship. Can anyone on this list point me to some recent New Testament work done on this text? Thanks.
