if you're in the vicinity of Kernersville, Koerner’s Folly would be 
worth a look/see if it's open. Mitch Easter, whose studio is also in 
Kernersville, describes KF as "a big ol' house of great oddness." it's 
this freaky-looking 22-room gothic mansion with lots of odd angles & 
things jutting off of it. looks like something out of the pages of "Dr. 
Seuss."
