Heh, well, Glenn tried making a *large* percentage of local shows at
Local 506 FREE and that didn't result in enough extra people through the
door to make the math work.
At WXDU we give away free tickets to shows all the time, and the unknown
bands sometimes don't even get any phone calls. There are so many
competing entertainment options that "free show" doesn't even get much
traction anymore. Whatever happened to bored kids?
