GOLFERS ARE BENEFICIAL
"Most people won't confuse the entertainment value of Ron's post and
the reality of golfer behavior," said Sandy Divott, the statewide
recreationologist with the N.C. Golf Resources Commission.
"However, there are a few people who consider golfers as threatening
creatures and they shouldn't. Golfers are a beneficial part of the
environment and they generally pose no danger unless they are
threatened. Then they come at you brandishing a 6-iron."
