[cc-community] improving the how tos for open licensing (wordpress and everything)

I want to promote open licenses, especially in the environmental space. I
can't find a single blog focused on green issues which uses an open license,
and I've looked widely. There are a small number using a Creative Commons
license, but they use non-commercial clause, so they're not fully open. (To
be honest there's also a huge amount of fluff and promotional stuff in the
green space, and that's often what gets the attention rather than substance
- very frustrating to me, as part of a team and community committed to
quality open knowledge.)

So, I plan some blog posts on the subject, and of course want to point them
at easy, clear how-tos so people can quickly make an *informed* decision
about the license to use (e.g. the case for avoiding
NC<http://freedomdefined.org/Licenses/NC>)
and add a CC mark <http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Marking>. It would be
great to have input on other good links, and if people feel inspired to
check those pages and improve them, it would be awesome.
I just made the page *Adding a CC mark to a WordPress
blog<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Adding_a_CC_mark_to_a_WordPress_blog>
* - and if someone knows how to add one by editing the footer.php file,
that would be great to have on the wiki page as well.
