Dear all,

As some of you may have read on the CC blog, the CC Case
Studies<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies>project has been
relaunched <http://creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/14392>.<http://creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/14392>

With this project, we’re trying to capture the diversity of CC creators and
content by building a resource that inspires new works and informs free
culture.

As the blog post explains, there are several ways to get involved -- such as
curating case study
collections<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies/Collections>,
using them in workshops and classrooms, and most importantly, adding your CC
story <http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies>, or one you’re familiar
with. Within this project, it will also be valuable to improve, categorize,
and assess <http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies/Roadmap#Ongoing>the
existing case studies, and to identify supporting data.

Furthermore, as with all CC wiki pages, translations are
supported<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/CcWiki:Translate>,
and we very much welcome submissions in your language. There are already a
few multilingual cases online, such as Carolina Botero's (CC Colombia) report
about the Colombian singer Silvia
O<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Es:Silvia_O_in_the_remix_culture%20>.

For more examples of well-written case studies, you can also visit: Blender
Foundation <http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies/Blender_Foundation>,
SomeRightsReserved<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies/SomeRightsReserved>,
and the African Sleeping Sickness
Test<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Case_Studies/African_Sleeping_Sickness_Test>.
You may also find it useful to use our Case Study
Questionnaire<http://wiki.creativecommons.org/images/0/0a/Case_Studies_Questionnaire.pdf>(pdf),
developed by CC Australia, to organize your thoughts or interview a
creator.

Please help spread the word among colleagues and friends! If you'd like to
get more involved, or have any questions, I'm happy to be in touch.

Warm regards,

Michelle
