I guess you need to look for all the net labels licensing music for film, tv
and advertising. + look for all indie and famous artists releasing music
under a cc license and obtaining placements in film, tv and advertising. We
also have placed many of our tracks for film, tv and advertising and our
artists went forward collecting royalties through ascap and bmi. I dont see
a problem when the artists is a member of ascap or bmi and release his/her
music under a NC CC license. Indie artists can net a good profit with back
end royalties. I dont see anything wrong with that.

I think ascap was forced by the Antitrust to change their agreements to
non-exclusive. This would make sense as collecting societies can be seen as
monopolists and it seems unfair to allow them asking for exclusive
agreements.

anymore thoughts on this? anyone that knows more about this?
