Hi Bogdan,
Thanks for the feedback -- as I said, you're the first to offer any.

No, my proposal was for *icons*. I don't have much opinion about the
abbreviations. There's no established abbreviation for this concept,
that I know of. Feel free to coin one.
This icon represents the type of clause that the CC licenses and the
GFDL have which prohibits using DRM to prevent access or editing of the
content.
This is just a collection of uploaded artwork, but if you want to see
how I proposed using these icons, look here:
http://freedomdefined.org/index.php?title=Licenses/CC-BY-SA
and here:
http://freedomdefined.org/Four_freedoms
The idea was to create something analogous to CC's "deed" pages, but for
many different licenses from different sources.
I haven't attempted to apply these to all of the licenses on the FD
site, mainly because I was hoping for some kind of feedback before
taking on such a large task.
I really didn't want to spend a whole Saturday writing wiki markup just
to see it reverted or deleted. But I did create some macros to
facilitate it and changed a couple of example pages.
Cheers,
Terry
