For the best info on what might be considered plagiarism or not, check
out The Little Book of Plagiarism by Judge Richard Posner: http://www.amazon.com/Little-Book-Plagiarism-Richard-Posner/dp/037542475X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209918672&sr=8-1
It's hard to plagiarize yourself, but it's possible. =c) I think it
would only really be considered plagiarism if (this is Posner's idea)
people are expecting that you don't do it. If it doesn't matter, then
you can't really plagiarize yourself. For instance, you probably
should cite yourself if you're writing a paper, but if you're doing
something informally, there's no problem. A blogger might say the same
thing over and over again, and people will recognize that (especially
if the blogger links him or herself), whereas an academic will want
to go back and look at all the work that lead to a particular
conclusion or statement.
