Happy not to be first. And if this brings more pioneers to light, so much the 
better.

Ah, and here is the difficulty.

Well, I am not sure that the GPL definition works for other than code.

Sure, except where the sheet music does not exist perhaps.

From discussions I have seen on our list, I think we will be trying to provide 
as much as we can with our stuff.

Also, since the stuff is BY-SA, anyone is free to supply these for the works. 
Since at the moment, all I do is write some of the lyrics, my part is a bit 
easier.

I know that there were some chord files on our site at some point as well but 
they seem to be missing or I am not looking in the right place at the moment.
