Your analysis seems fairly accurate at first glance. I don't think I called or 
meant to call the NiN release just gratis/non-gratis as you seem to be taking 
it though. But it is simply a play in the gratis/non-gratis space.

I am by no means claiming that all plays in the gratis/non-gratis space are 
equal to each other though.
