Yes. NC says "don't you try to make money off this", not "I promise not 
to try to make money off this". For proving that your intent is not 
commercial, it is worse than just asserting fair use.

It might be argued that a large fan project, such as a wiki, might be 
prevented from selling its work by the entanglement of NC into many 
different revisions of the site, a wiki version of The Linux Kernel 
Relicensing Problem. But this would underestimate fans quite 
considerably. ;-)
