Yes, I understand that completely.

What they'd need to clear with me is not having to ShareAlike. Most of
those who have already asked to use my music wouldn't have wanted that.

No, I really mean to offer my work as BY-SA and not by any means NC.
I'm a big fan of Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation, and
I meant my music license to be as close to the GPL as possible - that
means that I allow commercial use in the CC license, with no Plus
required. Even Richard Stallman says it's OK to sell Free Software!
My CDs all have the following essay printed on one page of their case
inserts; I expect I'll include it with the sheet music as well:

What I'd like to do is dual-license the work for uses, regardless of
their commercial nature, where the licensee doesn't want to give up any
right to their own work. Given that, for "not too commercial" uses, I'm
happy with credit and a link. For "fully commercial" uses, I want
credit, a link and money - and lots of it.

I appreciate your effort on my behalf. But maybe my usage of CC+ is
improper, and may not have been anticipated by the folks that created CC+.
At the bottom of the sample "Plus" graphic, it says "COMMERCIAL
LICENSE". Given that I already grant a commercial license to everyone
with the BY-SA and without any need for the Plus, what would be better
wording to use at the bottom of my Plus graphic? "LICENSE EXCEPTION"
seems too arcane.
