I certainly do encourage this sort of approach. There's so many sites on
the web that don't contain any CC content, that it is entirely
reasonable to indicate that you have some.

I would put a note on the page saying: "Look for this logo to indicate
CC licensed content on this site" or something to that effect. That both
tells the reader what to look for, and also signals that there is some
CC content to be found on your site.
