It was not meant to be. If you check the list archives here, you will often
see advice to get a lawyer. Why? One reason is that no one is going to give
you legal advice unless they are a lawyer, and from what I gather, unless
they are your lawyer.

It is good advice.

Not a fun situation... I am sorry but I don't think it is a fun situation. If
you are having fun with this, sorry I misread you.

As for the rest of your comment which I did not quote. I am about done. I have
given you a lot of my time and done my best to help you and steer you to
others who I felt could help.

As for the rest, I don't need the headaches. I was honest about my preferred
license. I will not apologize for that.

As for implying anything about you doing anything for people like me???

Here is some my BY-SA (or GPL) offerings to the world:

Not that any of that means anything much, but I am not some person out looking
to take advantage of people. I am doing what I can to contribute.

Once again. Do what ever makes you happy. Whatever floats your boat. But I
will say that you are unlikely to get good advice unless you fill everyone in
on the tricky details. (And I am not saying that you are trying to keep
anyone in the dark. I feel like at this point I need to take care to point
out such things. I am not sure how things went down this path.)

For instance someone in one post indicated that someone had slapped a license
on your work that you had never put there and were guilty of some offence. I
tried to help you out by pointing out that your case was a little more SUBTLE
than that.

Look, I don't know if as a result of what you have done, you have licensed
those works that you listed with opsound unde a BY-SA license or not. It is a
tricky situation as far as I see it. Isent you here to get other people's
take on it. But to give their take, they have to grasp what went down.

I also pointed out that even if you did license the things BY-SA, you had the
option of pulling everything and never mentioning the fact again. Only
distribution under BY-NC-ND or whatever you like from now on. Then someone
else mentioned that you make a subtle change to the current file so that you
could tell the difference. I pointed out that I thought that that move may
help you accomplish what I think you want to accomplish in the event that you
had licensed the works BY-SA (or even if not) and would like to make things
more to your liking from here on out. Even though from my biased postion
Iwould rather see you just go BY-SA on the tracks and chalk one up to getting
an education the hard way, or better yet, thinking throught things in the
light of a generous and sharing community and possibly making BY-Sa your
license of choice going forward.

But, I am in the middle of the RPM08 challenge with one of my bands and going
to band practice with another getting ready for some upcomming gigs. So, I am
done as far as this effort goes. Good luck and I hope that you come to
acorrect answer to your questions and I wish you the best and joy no matter
what the actual answer turns out to be.

all the best,

drew
