[cc-community] live CC music

Yeah, and what's weirder is that collecting societies are usually working in
the interests of musicians -- or at least thats how they started.

But this isn't to say it's impossible to reconcile collecting societies with
CC: there have been a couple successful efforts at doing this outside of the
states. Check out this link for information about KODA (the Danish
collecting society) working with CC:

Since collecting societies usually deal with 'commercial rights' to perform
music (but not exclusively) it seems like they can be convinced of the
merits of letting musicians use the NonCommercial license.
