Despite Wikipedia / Wikimedia projects appearing to be non-commercial sites,
they require all of their content to be able to be used commercially. This,
ostensibly, is to allow people to resell copies of printed Wikipedia, and so
on, but also has the consequence of allowing other sites to generate ad
revenue by scraping and using its content, while the community remains
steadfastly against Wikimedia ever implementing advertisements.
