I'm talking about sites that allow CC licensing, like Flickr. When you
upload your photo, you have a chance to select the license. At the same
time, you should have a radio button, like this:
(*) Use my username for attribution purposes.
( ) Anonymous (no explicit attribution is required)
( ) Use this name: [ ]
to specify the form of attribution (that's a fill-in box on the last
option, of course).
This makes your choice of attribution explicit, and then this can be
published along with the license info.
Of course, CC has little control over this, beyond providing easy-to-use
implementations and examples to follow.
