Well, I negotiated with a local musician a few years for a price to release 
one of his existing songs under a BY-SA license. I was hoping for a price 
that I could afford on my own. It turned out to be higher than that and I 
figured I would hunt around and find others to kick in but then got busy and 
sidetracked. I may get back to that oneyet.

I also have a grand to put up as prize money on a BY-SA song contest beginning 
with some of my own lyrics if I can ever get that organized and off the 
ground...

I think there is some potential in getting the public to realize that tax 
dollar funding for the arts dould be more productive if directed towards 
artists making use of Free licenses.

It could become a check box for some private granting bodies.
