Yes, I realize that from my Free Software work - one can't remove the
GPL 1.0 from software that initially used it. But the copies that come
from my site should all have a consistent license so as not to confuse
my fans. I'm doing my best to have that all happen all at once.

I'm working on some new material which will be licensed under 3.0 from
the outset.

However, I hand out lots of free CDs of my music. I got the CD label
and case insert art all ready so I could pass them out under the new
license, but not my website or torrents, so at the moment they're
inconsistently licensed.

I'm also dismayed that I printed up about a hundred extra case inserts
just before the license change. I actually considered labeling that
many CDs with the old license so as not to waste the paper and the ink.

But do you know what I find best about my new license artwork? I'm
replacing the dreary old "Some Rights Reserved" logo with the
appropriate "license button" as found here:

http://creativecommons.org/presskit

It looks much nicer graphically, and someone familiar with the code can
tell what the license terms at a distance, without having to squint
their eyes to read the fine print!
